2011 FIELD TRIPS & GET-TOGETHERS

Goolwa Weekend Away

The journey back from the far away galaxy known only as 'Goolwa' has now been completed. Without needing to engage the Warp drive, a 40 minute cruise is all it took on both the leg there and the return journey. The climate in the Goolwa galaxy was surprisingly mild, pleasant and sunny, with just a cool breeze off the ocean making the nights a little chilly. However, this was overcome rapidly by consuming a cordial like substance our fellow trekkers managed to take with them.
The journey was made even more enjoyable by the fact we were joined by a very beautiful, albeit inexperienced model, Karina. Although I am quite certain that should she choose to make a career in modeling she would do very well!
On Saturday the party set off to take photos, and did we take photos. Most of the Party enjoyed a cruise to the Murray Mouth in the afternoon. By the end of the day Karina had been modeling constantly for 12 hours, had several costume changes and had well over 1000 photos taken of her. That's a lot of flashes going off!

Sunday involved the inevitable clean up and realization that our journey had nearly come to an end. But first a trip to the markets, and our model looked stunning again in a lovely evening gown, which for some reason attracted a lot of attention. Can't wait for the next one.
