Welcome to Noarlunga and Southern District Camera Club
Do you enjoy photography, but would like to learn a bit more? Do you like to talk about
photography and socialise with like-minded people? Then come and share an evening
with us. Although the Camera Club's membership has reached capacity, we are offering special workshops for non-members to attend. See the notice at the bottom of this page for details. The club meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 7.30pm at the
Arts Centre, Gawler St, Port Noarlunga. Entrance is at the rear of the building. Read more

Our next meeting will be on Tuesday 10th August
The Annual General Meeting will be held this night, with four committee members up for re-election, it is important to be there to cast your vote. After the AGM we will have a fun quiz, so be prepared for anything! Club membership fees are now due, so please pay the treasurer promptly.

Competition Results June 2010
There were not quite as many photos to judge this month, so Morris Bills was able to give very descriptive critiques on our work. He appreciated those photos that clearly told a story - 9 honours and 25 merits were awarded, many thanks to Morris for making it an enjoyable night.
'Chrome and Enamel' by BarryTreleaven
The club is pleased to announce Photography Expo 2010 will be on the weekend of 4th & 5th September, at the arts centre Port Noarlunga. This annual event will be bigger than ever, with more trade displays, talks and demonstrations by the professionals, the latest in cameras and equipment, printers, and stunning displays of photography from the local photographers and contributors from further afield. Several camera clubs will also contribute with their member's best works on display. Lots to do and see, so please keep this weekend free!
In conjunction with the Expo the club will hold it's annual Photo Exhibition at the arts centre gallery. All club members remember to have your best images ready for display in good time. As in previous years there will be a 'People's Choice' awarded for the best print. For more information on the 2010 Photography Expo.......

New Workshops
A series of workshops has been organised at the club rooms on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. Non-members are welcome to attend for $15 a session.
