2010 PROGRAMME

Marine
 A picture of any scene, object or event which can be associated with the sea.  The sea itself must not be the dominant part of the picture; this is to avoid confusing 'Marine' with 'Seascape' or 'Wave Study'.
Night Study
A picture of scenery or buildings taken at night with existing illumination or with flashlight contributing no more than supplementary illumination. Street and/or advertising lighting may be included.
Contrasts
A picture depicting two or more subjects which are intrinsically in contrast with each other e.g. by virtue of type, shape or colour, etc. This has nothing to do with 'contrast' in the photographic sense.
Interior Architecture
A picture showing some part of the interior of a building which depicts some form of architectural merit. There is no restriction in the type or source of lighting.
